Alley Cats.

Other highlights include the Jaeger show, whose clothing range was so so enviable. I am heading there as soon as it all becomes available. Christopher Kane was, of course, completely jaw dropping, as was Osman and Margaret Howell.

Repetition Kills You.

Finally, a sunny day! Not a cloud in the sky. The Ray Ban's are out, the shorts are on... though with tights and a thick coat. But we're getting there!

I'm listening to A History Of The World In 100 Objects on Radio 4, the one about Ramesses II. It starts with a quote from Percy Shelley's "Ozymandias" which I just happen to have in front of me, in a poetry book, open on that exact page. Coincidences like this freak me out. I have been reading a lot of poetry lately. From Shelley to Keats, Owen and Ginsberg. I find it bridges the gap between my current inability to focus much time on a novel and my need to read SOMETHING.

This is a sketch for my D&AD entry based on 'resistance'. Pen and watercolour.

Pass This On

Today has been completely changed by the news of the death of Alexander McQueen. That's a big loss to the fashion world. A complete creative genius who I greatly admired.

This drawing is for Lee, over in Copenhagen looking at clothes and having (hopefully) the time of his life. You can't beat a film with Schwartzman, Wilson and Brody in it. Ink and dip pen, watercolour and pencil.

I'm gonna go drink some coffee.

Et in Arcadia Ego.

I want more times like this. I love the British summer, and spring even more. But this incessant cold, the lingering winter is really doing my head in. When you're in bed, duvet, 2 blankets, slacks and a hoodie, you know it's bad times. Especially when you're on your laptop and you can't feel your fingers any more. I need bed gloves. Does anyone make bed gloves?

Hurry up Coachella.
